I'm not one of those people who likes to torture her kid by making him dress up in silly costumes for elaborate photo-shoots. No, sir. Not me. I never would have forced my precious child to don clothes and sit for pictures -- both things he really hates doing -- if:1) the suit wasn't just sitting there in our box of 12-month-old hand-me-down clothes, and
2) I wasn't in desperate need of an "illustration" for the month of December for a little Christmas present I am making. (More on that later.)
But things being what they are, and it's getting to be the 11th hour for crafty Christmas-gift making, Colin had to take one for the team. These are the only photos I managed to get of him in which he's not crying. But they are so cute, I might have to revise that rule about dress-up photo shoots...

i love it! of course i was the one who put lily in my stocking at her first month of life. the top is my favorite, then one with him looking off to the side - at kevin i imagine.
