Although this news will probably shock my Southern relations, Colin and I took the dog for a walk the other morning in 10-degree temperatures! Don't worry, though. Colin was bundled up in several layers and nestled deep inside his sling with a light blanket over him to keep the snow off. (Yes, it started snowing again while we were out, but we're raising a Canadian here, people, not some hothouse flower!)
Colin was wonderful and slept the entire time in his sling. I wish I could say the same for the dog. Remy was a little too interested in what was inside the sling and will not be going on any more walks with us until his behavior improves. Fortunately, we start obedience training this week.
