Scenes from München

Lest you think we spent our entire weekend in München drinking beer, I’ve put together a little slideshow of all other places we visited: the München Residenz, Schloss Nymphenburg, the Botanical Gardens. And I’ll let the images stand alone, because my biggest impression of visiting these spots was not what happened there or any of the interesting bits of history or cultural commentary I gleaned, rather just a series of beautiful, tranquil scenes from a sunny, summer’s afternoon, when you don’t have to be anywhere or do anything, and if find you’re really enjoying yourself, you’re free to say, “Let’s stay awhile and take the late train home.”
